Sergio Scariolo spoke to the media after our team's victory against Barcelona in the 23rd round of the Liga Endesa. Our coach analyzed the game: "We are satisfied with having played a very complete game on both ends of the court, with a very good contribution from all the players.” 

“We did a good job against Barça's sources of scoring, threats, and playmaking. Sometimes, to help more on one side, you expose yourself more on another, and they found some spaces that they capitalized on very well. But overall, the defensive game was good, and the defense fed into the offense."

Accuracy in shooting
"We also had a moment of accuracy. The way we play generates many high-quality shots. Sometimes, the accuracy doesn't match the quality of the action, but today, in the second quarter, it did, and that allowed us to open a gap that was well protected in the second half."

Rotations
"Some players were able to play despite not being at their best form and made good use of the minutes they had. We have a brutal schedule. We played on Friday, traveled directly from Kaunas to here, and we have games on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday again."

Is this victory a statement in the league?
"We must remain humble and put things into perspective. If you limit the analysis to today's game, you can't deny that it was a very good game. We've distanced ourselves further from Barcelona in the standings and strengthened our first place. We continue with a very high pace in the league, improving our basketball and recovering players. That's what's important; the statements should come at the end."
