Alberto Abalde spoke to the press in the build-up to Real Madrid-San Pablo Burgos at the Movistar Arena on matchday three in the League (Sunday, 12:30 pm CEST): “We're expecting a tough game, like they all are in the ACB. We're in a phase where we still have room for improvement and we have to use the games for that, but we want to win it as well. The opposition will make life hard for us."
“First and foremost, we need to recover from a long trip, and then we'll focus on the things we have to do. We'll have to make some small adjustments too, because they have a great team."

“We have experience of the calendar, and this year it's even more demanding, but we have great strength in depth. We all have to make an effort to look after ourselves and recover well - we always have to be ready to contribute."

“We have to keep working hard. We always feel comfortable playing at home. This is my sixth season here, and playing at our home court always gives you that edge, with the crowd behind us. If we want to win games and improve our form on the road, we have to make sure we're a strong outfit at home, and make the most of these matches to learn.
