Scariolo: “We have to be more consistent”
“We switched off in the second quarter and then struggled to get back into it," said the coach following the game in Milan.
Sergio Scariolo analysed Real Madrid's match against EA7 Emporio Armani Milan on the road: "We competed well in the second half, we played to a high level, but we really switched off in the second quarter. They're a great team, packed with experience and in good form. They're played well, I don't want to take any credit away from them, but we're really disappointed with those six or seven minutes in the second quarter. That's what opened the game up and it was so difficult for us to get back into it."
“It was a fairly even game for the first and last quarters. The second period was awful, we switched off and then struggled to get back into the game. We managed it, and we were just four points off. We lacked a bit of concentration in the decisive moments and they scored some great baskets at those times."
Two days until the next game
“The EuroLeague is a long competition and we've got another game in less than 48 hours. We have to be ready for it, recover well, learn from this and go out on court in front of our fans. We have to be more consistent.
