Sergio Scariolo analysed Real Madrid's victory at Anadolu Efes on matchday 14 of the Euroleague: “We're very satisfied with this victory, it's very difficult to win here. Efes showed their strongest side and, probably for this reason, we have to be satisfied".
"We played a great second half, especially in defence, and in attack we found a way to score. We turned the battle for rebounds around, getting more in the second half, some of them very important. That made the difference. In the second half, the team took a very important step forward, playing with intensity, heart and desire."
The defensive aspect
“It was a tough game for Tavares, he was a bit off his game due to the foul trouble early on and then the attacks he received on the outside shot. We were able to replace him well. Len did well and especially Garuba".
