Scariolo and Krämer spoke in the build-up to the game against Olympiacos, on matchday two of the EuroLeague (8.45 pm CEST). The coach discussed the opposition: “We're still very early in the season and the normal parameters are different, but the quality, the value and, especially, having many players who have been playing together for years with the same coach really counts for a lot. They also need to build up their fitness, but they're a great team that plays from memory, with great players like Vezenkov. It's a very experienced squad."

"We'll try to display an improved version of the team, even if it is against one of the strongest teams you can encounter in this competition.”

“Some players are tired and others are injured, but this is normal at the start of the season. Some have had practically no pre-season training and others have been injured. We'll find the consistency we're looking for in a few weeks' time.”

Krämer: “We must defend our court”
“We're looking forward to playing in the EuroLeague in front of our fans. It'll be a very tough match and we have to be ready. We have to give one hundred per cent. It's a match with a long history of rivalry and we're going to try to get the win.”

“In the EuroLeague, every match is important, and we must win at home and defend our court. The team is improving every day, and we have to keep working and adapting to what the coach demands of us.”
