Abalde: "We have to keep getting wins because the competition demands it"
“We're in a process of improvement and growth as a team in which there's a lot of room for improvement,” he said on Realmadrid TV ahead of the Granada match.
Alberto Abalde spoke to Realmadrid TV the day before the Coviran Granada match on Liga Endesa matchday 8, to be played at the Palacio Municipal de Deportes in Granada: “We're happy to have secured a really important home win. We're aware that we're in a process of improvement and growth as a team, and there's still a lot of room for improvement.”
“We have to keep winning as the competition moves forward, because that’s what’s required of us. We’re happy to have won yesterday’s game and we’re looking forward to continuing that process.”
Coviran Granada
“It’s a court that always asks a lot of us. They're a team that, given their situation in terms of wins, approach every game as if it were a final. We're aware that when we go to opposition courts, it's always an important game for the other team; it happened to me when I played with other teams against Madrid, it's always a special game. We have to play a big game to get the win tomorrow."
The team's level
"We're reaching a level of solidity and consistency, although we're aware that we want to play better, more fluidly and be more accurate. We're being consistent in the League and capable of getting the wins, even when the games are tougher. The match against Bilbao at home comes to mind, which was hard for us. Even so, the team looks for ways to win matches. It's very important because when fluidity and good feelings come, and we all feel better on the court, and we already have the other basics in place, it will make us grow a lot.”
