Scariolo: "It was a solid, well controlled performance"
"It was great to see how we maintained our energy levels despite having two EuroLeague games this week," added the coach.
Sergio Scarilo spoke to the press following our team's win over Casademont Zaragoza on Endesa League matchday five: "It was a good game in general. Playing against Casademont in Zaragoza is always difficult: their fans make a special atmosphere, and the way they play is incredibly direct and punishes any mistakes."
"In the first half, our main defensive issue was that we gave away 10 turnovers. Then, once our defence was better positioned, we looked more comfortable. We have to improve on vertical transitions after we turn the ball over, and we did limit those in the second half. It was a solid, well controlled performance over the 40 minutes. There were some moments of real class by Santi and Bell-Hayenes, who made life really hard for us at times, but we reacted well as a team. Everyone did their bit. It was great to see how we maintained our energy levels to win it away from home, despite having played two EuroLeague games this week."
Buen juego colectivo
