“We must appreciate the effort the players have made to come through a very challenging game,” explained the coach.
Pedro Martínez analyzed Real Madrid's victory against Unicaja in their Liga debut: “It was a very tough game, very evenly matched, with good moments for both teams. We had some ups and downs, but surely they are thinking the same thing. Two or three days ago, we didn’t perform well at the end in Dubai, and today it was the opposite. In a somewhat similar situation, we were able to turn the game around.”
“We should be happy because we need to learn to appreciate and take joy in the small achievements we make. Also, as always, we must give a lot of credit to our opponents. We are in an ACB League that is tremendously competitive and very difficult.”
Demanding schedule
“We are competing in another competition that is also incredibly demanding and very tough, and this means that we have to prepare very quickly from one game to the next.
