Pedro Martínez: “The players are doing a very good job”
“We like that different players stand out every time,” added our coach.
Pedro Martínez addressed the media in the press room of the Espai Fruita Barris Nord pavilion, after our team's victory against iLERNA Lleida. Our coach analyzed the game: “It was a tough game. The difference on the scoreboard does not reflect how the game actually was.”
“In the last quarter, we made a lot of three-pointers when the game was already under control. Scoring so many threes in the last quarter made the score difference exaggerated and does not fully reflect the balance that existed in the game. We were focused and serious. When you shoot with such accuracy, it’s very difficult for the opponent to counteract it.”
Happy with the squad
“The players have a very good mentality; they are very committed and involved. They are doing a very good job, and we like that different players stand out every time. Now is not the time, because of today’s game or the week, to be overconfident. We must keep our feet on the ground and stay humble.”
