Pedro Martínez: “We had the ability to turn the game around”
“When we share the ball, we have a better chance of playing well,” explained the coach after the victory against Maccabi.
Pedro Martínez analyzed Real Madrid's victory against Maccabi away from home, corresponding to the seventh round of the EuroLeague. After the game played in Belgrade, the coach said: “We struggled a lot, especially in the first quarter, and then we had the ability not to give up, to keep fighting, doing things well, and turning around a game that was very difficult in the first quarter.”
“The high number of assists, I think, is a very good sign. When we share the ball, we have a better chance of playing well. Regarding the number of three-pointers, their defense was very tight, and it was very difficult to get good opportunities near the basket unless it was from a fast break. We found good three-pointers, and many assists were for those shots.”
