Chus Mateo: "Hopefully we can give our fans something to cheer about once again"
"They have recentlty changed coach and they're going to want to give their all against us," added the coach ahead of Real Madrid-Bàsquet Girona (Sunday, 12:30 pm CET).

Chus Mateo spoke to the club media the day before Girona Bàsquet's visit to the WiZink Center (Sunday, 12:30pm CET). The coach analysed the game: "They have just changed coach and that always makes the players much more attentive, active and wanting to please, looking for opportunities that they didn't have with the previous coach. They will surely want to give their all against us at the WiZink Center. It's very important that we pay attention, that we are very attentive to the game and know how to react."
"They have very good offensive rebounding, they are very good in that aspect. They also shoot three-pointers well, have two point guards who generate a lot of play, a scorer or two and an athletic inside game."
The support of the fans
"It's calmer at home and the fans help you a lot. But we are there for whatever it takes, when we have to play away it's exactly the same. It's a long season and now we have to play in front of our own fans, where we'd like to finish the week with on a high. Hopefully we can them something else to cheer about. We always think about them when we work. They're always by our side, when we win and when we lose."
