Chus Mateo: “We're looking forward to playing at home again”
"Casademont Zaragoza are very dangerous opponents and have a lot of qualities", said the coach prior to the league game (Sunday, 12:30pm CEST).
Chus Mateo spoke to Realmadrid TV and gave his thoughts on Real Madrid's match against Casademont Zaragoza at the WiZink Center (Sunday, 12:30pm CEST). He said: "We're looking forward to playing at home again. It's been a long time coming. We were champions last season and we would like to play at home again because they didn't see us being crowned champions".
"We always enjoy having the support of the fans and that they are behind us as they always are. I hope that's going to happen because, although we started off with a loss, in our minds we're going to have a great season".
Approach
"We need to be more together, trying to grasp better what we want to do as a team and, of course, defend a lot more. We need to have solidity at the back and commit fewer turnovers. We've had some good defensive moments, but we have to do it for longer".
The opposition
"Like everyone else, they're very dangerous and they have a lot of good qualities. However, even though we're going to take a look at the opposition, I'd like us to take a look at ourselves and do things better. I'm optimistic that it will be easier in front of our fans and with their help".
