Chus Mateo: "I'm happy because the team did a good job"
"We're on the right track and that's the way we need to defend," explained Musa after the win over Red Star.
Chus Mateo and Musa analysed Real Madrid‘s victory over Red Star Belgrade. The coach was satisfied after the game at the WiZink Center: "We played well, we had a good game at the back and put in a pretty solid performance. We kept an eye on their shooters, who were scoring a lot from outside. We were very attentive when defending, rebounding and passing the ball to each other. We lost very few turnovers and the assist-to-turnover ratio was good. It was a good job by the team and I'm happy about that."
"I'm happy for the youth players. They're youngsters who work every day to perform well. I'm very happy for Gueye because he's a very appreciative kid. He's training with us and he's helping us a lot. They're carving out their own future. I'm very happy for Hugo González, who is now another player for us and, of course, for Ndiaye because he fought hard for a place and it's going to be difficult for anyone to take it away from him."
Musa: "We are confident"
