Chus Mateo analysed the victory at the Stark Arena against Partizan in a press conference. The Madrid coach said: "It was a very tough game because Partizan are competing for the play-off places. They fought hard and we had to be at our best. Three of the quarters were very close. We were consistent in the one-on-ones and rebounding."

"We were able to break the game open with a spectacular scoring spurt from Mario Hezonja. The whole team did a great job, as did Hugo Gonzalez, and I am very happy with the way my players are playing. All of them always work hard for the team, that's the most important thing and I'm proud of that."
