Chus Mateo: “The important thing is to have energy to perform well in Belgrade”
“The four remaining matches will be against teams that haven't yet achieved their objective and will be fighting to the full,” said the coach.
Chus Mateo spoke on Realmadrid TV the day before the Partizán-Real Madrid clash, in round 31 of the EuroLeague (8:30pm CET). After Tuesday’s victory in Berlin, the coach spoke about his team's next match: “The four remaining matches will be against teams that haven't yet achieved their objective and will be fighting to the full. So, they're going to be very difficult matches.”
“It's the calendar and we have to deal with it. We're trying to recover the energy we've been exerting in the last few games. We've had three away games in a row and this will be the fourth. The important thing is to have energy on a very tough court, with a very intense crowd, to be able to perform well and have a chance of winning.”
