Chus Mateo discussed the matchday 17 clash against Morabanc Andorra in the league for Realmadrid TV (Sunday, 6:30 pm CET): “It's an important match, the last of the first half of the Regular Season. Andorra make uncomfortable opposition and they play very well at home. The possibility of winning gives us the motivation, we want to finish in the top three in the this first half of the season.”
“Andorra has some excellent shooters, real quality. I hope we'll be bright enough to do a good job in offense. We need to read their defense well. The Copa is another tournament, but the most important thing right now is a positive dynamic. We're going to keep working hard to improve and ensure we can compete against any opposition."
Demanding schedule
“I'm proud of the effort of my players with such a demanding schedule. I trust in staying positive in order to strengthen us as a team. The mentality helps us to take another step forward and forget about the schedule.”
