Chus Mateo: "I'm proud that the team continues to be competitive every day"
"I try to give my best on court and I appreciate the faith from my teammates," explained Yabusele after the win over Asvel.
Chus Mateo and Yabusele analysed Real Madrid's win over Asvel in Euroleague game 25. The coach spoke after the game: "I'm happy. We've played 25 games in Europe and as many in a league as tough as Spain's. That's why I'm very proud of the team's performance. That's why I'm very proud that the team continues to be competitive every day. We played against a very physical opponent but we were able to stop them. It's always good to get a win at home in front of your fans."
"The goal is to be in the top four at the end of the Regular Season to get home-court advantage in the playoffs. But that won't be enough for us because the way forward is to win the title, although it won't be easy. We have to take it one step at a time and think only about the next game."
Yabusele: "I felt good"
"I try to give my best on court and I'm grateful for the faith that my teammates have in me with their passes. I felt very good and my free throws were good. I'm very fond of Asvel, but today I couldn't let them go away with a win."
