Chus Mateo: “We had chances to make sure of the win in the final quarter”
“We have to keep fighting and believing right now, all of us together," underlined the Real Madrid coach.
Chus Mateo discussed the clash between Maccabi and Real Madrid on EuroLeague matchday seven at the post-game press conference. He explained: “It was a very evenly-matched game right to the end. We had chances to make sure of the win in the final quarter, when we had the lead, but our shooting wasn't good enough. Our team tried but they just didn't manage. We have to keep fighting and believing right now, all of us together."
“We've played well in the last couple of games but we just missed out on the win in the closing stages. We have to keep fighting and we know how tight the EuroLeague is. That's what we have to make sure we do: fight."
