Chus Mateo spoke on Realmadrid TV the day before the matchday 31 clash in the Liga ACB which sees Real Madrid take on Monbus Obradoiro (Sunday, 12:30pm CEST). The coach had the following to say: “We're trying to keep doing the job in the Regular Season in the Liga Endesa. We're in the final sprint. We have four games left, three of them at home, and our fans will help us a lot, as they've been doing in recent games. We can't afford to lose sight of this competition.”

“We're looking at the playoffs out of the corner of our eye, trying to remember that the 2-0 scoreline isn't definitive and that we have to go to Vitoria with all our best intentions, but it's very important to win this game at home, against a team that's fighting to avoid relegation. They'll be very alert. Obradoiro will want to play a great game in Madrid, as they did in Bilbao and they won.”

Key points of the clash
“They're a very well-coached team. They have players who can do damage. We have to do things right in terms of intensity and not drop off the level we've been playing at lately. They're a different team, with strong inside play, with experienced players who are capable of scoring a lot of points.”
