After the game, Chus Mateo analysed Real Madrid's second victory over Valencia Basket in the League final. The coach said: “They are a team that never give up. They're really dangerous. Offensively, how many times have they scored more than 100 points this year? We weren't so good in defence today and they made some great shots. They are players who, in many cases, depend on their three-pointers”.

“We had to play differently. We were able to maintain the pace of the game, which isn’t easy. It was also down to the players' attitude, their courage, their desire to get back into the game, their hunger, their refusal to give up. There was a difficult moment in the last quarter, but we were able to remain patient and read the situations as best we could to make it 2-0.”

Team and fans
"We try to take advantage of the moments our fans create. Certain mechanisms are also generated by the dynamics of the group itself. We try to let it flow, and today it was good. Hopefully, we can clinch the title in Valencia, but we know it definitely won't be easy. I just want to thank the fans for their magnificent support in the bad times. They're always with us and they've helped us win so many times in a row at home."
