Chus Mateo: “We were very good early on but we have to be stronger throughout"
“We played well in spells but we have to stay focused for the full 40 minutes," underlined Campazzo following the win over Hiopos Lleida.

Chus Mateo and Campazzo spoke to the press following Real Madrid's 85-78 win over Hiopos Lleida. The coach reflected: “They got right into the game with their three-point shooting. The way we came out in the third quarter wasn't good enough and we need to work on strengthening our mentality. We are showing too much uncertainty, we have to stay strong throughout.”
“We were really good early on, Rathan-Mayes was scoring for fun and Ibaka looked strong. Unfortunately today he had a bit more to do than normal because Tavares wasn't fit."
Campazzo: “We have to stay calm”
“We knew that if we let it become an end to end clash, that's where they were strongest. They post a lot of triples, they're dangerous if they get on a roll. We showed a lack of focus at the start of the second half, we know we're struggling a bit at the moment. When things aren't going quite your way, it feels like everything is more difficult. But we have to stay calm. We picked up a win at home, for our fans, and it helps us ahead of the next game here."
Returning players
“It's great news for us to have Feliz back. We should have Musa with us for the next game too, another key man for us in offense. We have to avoid getting complacent or going too crazy. We weren't the best before, and we're not the worst now. We have to bring that energy and work hard."
Key areas
“You have to be focused for the full 40 minutes to win any game in this league. Just the first half is not good enough, you have to play good basketball, we're trying to find our game in that sense. At times it really comes off, but we have to work on our consistency."
