Chus Mateo: “The match against Zalgiris is a good chance to move forward”
"It's essential to keep winning and especially at home", explained Andrés Feliz prior to the match against the Lithuanian side.

Chus Mateo and Andrés Feliz spoke to the media to discuss the EuroLeague round 15 clash against Zalgiris Kaunas (Thursday 8.45pm). The Real Madrid coach said: "We'll be looking to pick up wins at home and be ready to finish among the best. It's a good chance to move up in the standings against a very strong opponent in Europe and one that's playing very well".
"Walker is an extraordinary player and he's playing at a very high level. It's not going to be easy to stop him. We'll have to defend very well. Zalgiris has very good players such as Francisco as well. Many players in Europe have a competitive level that is up to NBA level".
Strength of the team
"The team is together, fighting against adversity and pulling through when everything looked bad. You find those moments in the long run and the team gets stronger and stronger. Two years ago, for example, we were 2-0 down against Partizan and we were able to come back".
Garuba and Musa
"Usman still needs more rhythm and confidence, but he is getting better and better and training more regularly. Musa has also made a big effort after his injury, but he's going to be at a great level".
Andrés Feliz: "Our objective is to be physically strong at the back and move the ball in attack"
"It's an important game for us in order to continue to get into a rhythm and move up in the standings. Zalgiris is a very physical team and it's going to be difficult. Our aim is to be strong physically at the back and move the ball in attack".
"We have to get off to a good start from the first minute and play at a high tempo. It'll be a tough game from start to finish. We have to be strong on the defensive side as well".
Demands of the Euroleague
"The Euroleague has a very high level and every game is very important. It's essential to keep winning and especially at home. It's also fundamental to be together to compete at the highest level".
