Chus Mateo: “Winning by so many points against UCAM Murcia on their court is not easy”

Chus Mateo analysed Real Madrid‘s performance in the win away to UCAM Murcia in a press conference: “I'm happy with how hard we worked and how everyone played their part in the victory. We're mentally strong and it's not easy to play in two competitions like the Endesa League and the Euroleague and we have to get that balance and not go crazy when we win and when we lose. It's a difficult ride but if we do things well patiently and persistently we'll be in a position to compete at the end, which is the aim of the season and what it's all about. At the moment we have to roll our sleeves up and know how to dig deep".

Analysis of the victory
“We attacked with a lot of skill, although we turned over more balls than we should have, but we generally kept up with the pace of the game and that was helped by how good we were on the rebounding end. Youngsters
“Gildas Giménez and Declan Duru both playing is a reward for the hard work they put in every day and that you don't see. They're guys that are helping us in our training as we don't have as big a squad as in other seasons and I'm glad they've made their debuts”.
