Chus Mateo: “We have to be perfect in Murcia from start to finish”

Chus Mateo spoke to Realmadrid TV on the eve of the Endesa League matchday six clash that sees our boys visit UCAM Murcia (Sunday, 6:30 pm CET): “We're coming into this off the back of a double-header and now we've got an away trip that is always difficult. Regardless of where Murcia or Real Madrid are in the table, playing in Murcia is never easy. Their place is always a fortress and it'll be tough. We're going their hungry and with the attitude required for a game of this magnitude."
“We have to be perfect from start to finish. We can't afford to lose turnovers, rebounds. We'll have to defend one-on-ones well and win the ball back quickly… There are plenty of things we have to get right, we'll have to take it play by play. We'll have to show the patience and tenacity to deal with a long match."
Winning on the road
“Wherever we're playing, the most important thing for me is that our team do a good job against strong opposition. We have to show a good attitude and give our best in every area we can. We have to find consistency in that sense, we'll go all out to pick up a win on the road."
