Facundo Campazzo spoke ahead of the Real Madrid-Paris Basketball game, corresponding to the 17th round of the Euroleague, which will be played at the Movistar Arena (8:45 pm CET): "It's going to be a very fast-paced game. They are a team that runs a lot of plays—more than any other team in the EuroLeague. They are also the team that scores the most points and three-pointers. We know what it's like to play against a team like that because more and more teams play like that."
"We have to set our own pace and play good defence. If we control that, if we are aggressive at the back and attack with fluidity, good things will happen. It will be a great game to watch for the crowd, tough for us, and a challenge that will help us improve."
Game against Milan
"We weren't aggressive in defence. We were always behind them. We made some tactical and defensive mistakes. If you don't add intensity, it's easy baskets for them. We gave up free throws, and in attack we fought, but it's not enough."
Mentality
"We look at the standings, but it doesn't have to influence us in our game. We only think about the next opponent. In order not to go crazy, we have to trust in the work we do and put in 100 per cent energy. We have to play good basketball, we have shown that in the last eight games."
The present
"There is no season to compare, no record. Every team is different, and this year we have made a lot of changes, which is a process. We're doing things well, and at the same time, the Euroleague level demands more from you, and it's more difficult. Real Madrid players are here to do difficult things, and that is our challenge."
