The point guard, who was the team's best player with 21 points, said: “Starting on the right foot is very important, but we have to keep going. The first objective was to win this game with our fans, and we achieved it. We expect a different second game with different approaches and situations, and we have to be prepared for any scenario.”
“We have to bring our fight and intensity to defense, as we did for 35 minutes, and play smart and fluid. We’re happy because we achieved the first goal. We started with good momentum and maintained it for most of the game, defending very well, grabbing defensive rebounds, and being natural and unforced in attack.”
