Llull: “The EuroLeague is a very special competition for us and we want to win it again”
“It's a very demanding competition and we have to start well to try to position ourselves for the playoffs,” said the captain.
Real Madrid will get their EuroLeague campaign underway this Friday away at Baskonia 8,30pm CEST. Club captain Sergio Llull discussed the team’s objectives and mood in the camp ahead of the new competition: “The EuroLeague is a highly demanding but very special competition for us. We've managed to win it three times in recent years and we're going to try to do that again. What I like most is that we all know each other, we know our objectives and that will work in our favour. It's an advantage for the start of the competition. We've only brought in Campazzo, but he's already been with us and knows how it all works.”

When you're the reigning champions all the teams want to beat you and they're going to make things very difficult for us, but we're going to try. The EuroLeague is a very demanding competition.”
