Sergio Llull starts his 19th season at Real Madrid
The captain becomes the player to have been involved in the most campaigns for the club.

Sergio Llull is heading into his nineteenth season with Real Madrid, meaning he has played in more campaigns for our club than anyone else, moving clear of Rafael Rullán (18). The captain and club legend continues to break records as a madridista, and he is already our all-time record appearance-maker (1,084).
Llull arrived at Real Madrid at 19 years of age, in the 2006/07 season. Over the course of his time at the club, he's carved out a space in our history as a key piece of one of the most successful spells our basketball section has ever seen. The madridista boasts 28 titles to his name: 3 EuroLeagues, 1 Intercontinental Cup, 8 Leagues, 7 Copas del Rey and 9 Super Cups. On an individual level, he has also been crowned ACB League MVP, Intercontinental Cup MVP, Copa del Rey MVP on two occasions, 3-time MVP in the Super Cup, and twice MVP of the ACB League final. He has made the EuroLeague Best Five, and the ACB League Best Five on three occasions. He was the hero of La Undécima in Kaunas with his impossible buzzer-beater in the final against Olympiacos.
Appearance record
Last season, Llull overtook Felipe Reyes as the player to have made the most appearances in Real Madrid history. It is a record that he will continue to extend this season. In the League, the Mahón-born ace (609) is just 10 games away from equalling the forward in first place (619). He also tops the club's league stats for top point-scorer (6,389), assist-maker (1,091) and for triples (969). In the EuroLeague, Llull has played more times than any other madridista (407), won more games (286) and posted the most three-pointers (632).
