Chus Mateo presented with the AEEB Coach of the Year award
The Real Madrid coach received the award from the association's president ahead of the game against Unicaja at the WiZink Center.
Chus Mateo received the Coach of the Year award in the build-up to Real Madrid-Unicaja on league matchday ten. The Antonio Díaz Miguel Memorial Prize recognises the Real Madrid coach's efforts that saw the team crowned EuroLeague champions and win the Spanish Super Cup in the 2022/23 campaign. It's the first time he clinches the accolade in his career. The coach was presented with the award by Juan María Gavaldá, president of the Spanish Basketball Coaches Association (AEEB) and Eva Latorre, Antonio Díaz Miguel's widow.
