Tavares, the first to reach 500 blocks in the EuroLeague
The Real Madrid centre has topped the all-time rankings since 2022.
Tavares continues to make history in our jersey in the EuroLeague: against Anadolu Efes, he reached 500 blocks in the competition, becoming the first player to achieve this milestone.
The Real Madrid player has led the tournament's top blockers ranking since 2022. He is followed, at a considerable distance, by Bryan Dunston (373) and the now-retired Kyle Hines (320).
More than 700 in the League
In the Endesa League, Tavares has already surpassed 700 blocks (706). The Cape Verdean is also close to becoming the all-time leading shot blocker in Spain, a record currently held by Fran Vázquez with 738.
