Tavares plays his 600th Real Madrid game

In his eight seasons as a madridista to date, he's been involved in 14 title wins: 2 European Cups, 4 Leagues, 2 Copa del Rey and 6 Spanish Super Cups. He also sits second on the list for all-time foreign appearance makers at the club, behind only Jaycee Carroll (709).
The Cape Verde-born ace arrived at Real Madrid in the 2017/18 season and has gone on to become one of the most dominant centers in European basketball. He's a player capable of changing a game on his own, as acknowledged time and again by opposition coaches and players.
He also boasts an impressive record on an individual level. He's already been named EuroLeague Final Four MVP, MVP of the Endesa League final, Super Cup MVP, as well as being included in the Best Five of the EuroLeague and ACB on three occasions. He's been awarded EuroLeague Best Defender three times, while scooping the same award in the national league on four occasions.
Tavares has been a crucial part of Real Madrid's successes in recent years. The Cape Verde-born center has delivered a host of simply sublime performances, and at 33 years of age, he continues to be a difference-maker. He's the leading all-time blocker in the EuroLeague (472), second on all-time rebounds (1,877) and he leads the madridistas on total PIR (4,301).
