Real Madrid-Baskonia in the quarter-finals of the League
The playoff will start on Tuesday, 1 June at the Movistar Arena and will continue to the best of three games, with the home-court advantage in Chus Mateo's team's favour.

Real Madrid have learned the identity of their Endesa League quarter-finals opponents. With home-court advantage in the regular season undisputed leader’s favour, Chus Mateo’s team will face eighth-placed Baskonia.
The best-of-three tie will begin on Tuesday, 1 June, at the Movistar Arena. The second game will be played on Friday, 4 at the Fernando Buesa Arena. In the event of a third game, it will be played again at Madrid's home court on Sunday, 8. If our team manages to qualify for the semi-finals, the opponent would come from the winner of the playoff between Unicaja and Barcelona.
It will be the fourth time that the two teams have met in the League quarter-finals. On the three previous occasions, Real Madrid went through with the same result: 2-0 (1987/88, 1988/89 and 1989/90 seasons). In the ACB era, they have also met in 7 semi-finals (4-3 for Madrid) and 2 finals (2-0 for Madrid). This season they have played four games, with three wins for Madrid: two in the league (82-89 and 83-78) and one in the Euroleague (90-89).
