Pedro Martínez: "The team is working well"
"There are still many things to improve, and we are on the right track," added our coach after the victory in Málaga.
Pedro Martínez spoke to Realmadrid TV after the victory against Unicaja, which secured our team the championship title of the 15th edition of the Costa del Sol Tournament. Our coach said: “Every game is different. Yesterday (against La Laguna Tenerife), there were some defensive adjustments we didn’t execute very well, and today they were different because the opponent was different. That doesn’t mean we’ve solved all the problems we had yesterday. It doesn’t work like that. We have to keep working, and I think today we had a better rhythm.”
“The players are understanding the need to come in and give one hundred percent in every action of the game, to be dangerous in attack, aggressive in defense... But there are still many things to improve, and we are on the right track. We must be optimistic because the team is working well, but we also shouldn’t fall into thinking that everything is already done.”

“We can’t take anything for granted. We have to aim for three good training sessions before the next game and stay humble, work hard, and, most importantly, focus on improving.”
