Llull becomes all-time leader in league appearances for Real Madrid
The club president presented a commemorative jersey to the captain before the start of the Clásico.
Sergio Llull continues to make history at our club. Against Barcelona, the captain became the Real Madrid player who has played the most games in LaLiga Endesa, with 620 under his belt. Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez presented him with a commemorative jersey in the run-up to the Clásico.
Llull, who overtook Felipe Reyes in the ranking, is in his 19th season at Real Madrid. He arrived in 2006/07 and has been steadily writing the most recent history of our basketball team with his play. As a madridista, he has won 8 Liga titles, been MVP of the competition once and MVP of the final twice, as well as featuring in the best five on three occasions.
