Llull: "We found the courage to come back, and we're delighted to be playing in another final"
"We have to keep our composure against Valencia and keep believing until the end; that's what will give us the victory," added Feliz.
Llull, Feliz and Deck spoke to the press after Real Madrid sealed their place in the final of the 2025 Endesa Super Cup. The captain had this to say in the press conference: “It was a very tough match. We were trailing behind a bit. We all know what La Laguna Tenerife are capable of; they're a team that's been together for a long time. The reaction from the team and the heart we showed in the last quarter to come back and reach another final were what stood out for me.”
“It wasn't our best game, the team was a bit anxious and nervous about performing well from the outset. That worked against us a little. In the end, we managed to dig deep, come back and we're delighted to be playing in another final.”
Feliz: “Believing until the end will bring us victory”
“It was a semi-final game. What’s good is that we stuck together until the end and got the win, which was the important thing. Valencia are a team that have been doing very well and have shown that they’re going all out. They’re very strong physically and we have to keep playing as a team and keep believing until the end, that’s what will bring us victory.”
Deck: “I'm glad to be back on the court after four months out”
“I felt good, and I'm happy to be back and on the court after four months. I'm pleased with the team's victory. We know that these games are tough, especially in the Super Cup. Now it's time to rest and think about tomorrow. Valencia are very well organised, with a very deep squad. We have to try to do our job well and see what the game brings us. We know that finals are very tough, but we're at Real Madrid to fight for them and try to win them.”
