Llull makes 1,200th Real Madrid appearance
The captain has played more games for the club than any other player, winning 28 titles over 20 seasons.
In the EuroLeague Round 19 match against Dubai Basketball, Sergio Llull reached 1,200 games with Real Madrid. The captain, who has held the record for most appearances with our team since January 2024, when he surpassed Felipe Reyes, continues to cement his legendary status at the club.
Llull has also spent more seasons at Real Madrid than any other player. This campaign is his 20th, eclipsing Rullán’s 18. After winning last season’s ACB League with a 3-0 sweep in the final against Valencia Basket, the guard moved clear at the top of the list of players to boast the most ever most domestic titles, on 25 - surpassing the 24 won by other Madrid legends such as Luyk and Rullán.
The 1,200 games
The captain’s tally breaks down as follows: 662 in the League, 464 in the EuroLeague, 43 in the Copa del Rey, 29 in the Super Cup, and 2 in the Intercontinental Cup.
An incredible trophy haul
Llull has claimed 29 titles with Real Madrid: 3 EuroLeagues, 1 Intercontinental Cup, 9 Leagues (the most in the ACB era), 7 Copas del Rey, and 9 Super Cups. On an individual level, he has been named EuroLeague MVP, ACB League MVP, Intercontinental Cup MVP, twice Copa del Rey MVP, three-time Super Cup MVP, twice ACB Finals MVP, as well as being included in the All-EuroLeague Team, and the ACB Best Five on three occasions.
He was also the hero of La Undécima in Kaunas, when he made the impossible buzzer-beater in the final against Olympiacos, and in early 2025 he was named one of the 25 greatest players in EuroLeague history on its 25th anniversary.
