"We should feel proud of the good work we've done"

The stars of the 38th league title win spoke on their visit to the Community of Madrid headquarters and City Hall. Sergio Llull was the first to express his gratitude to the fans: "Thank you so much for your support, we're thrilled to be back here to share another trophy with you."

"Thank you to Madrid and to all of our fans for the effort you make, for following us all over the place, the hotel stays, the tickets. We're hugely grateful, I hope we can come back with more trophies under our arm next year. Thank you all, and Hala Madrid!".

Campazzo: "It's momentous to be able to continue writing pages in the Real Madrid history books"
"I'm so happy to be here at the Community of Madrid with our fans, with the people who cheer us on all year. We're pleased because at the end of the season we were able to get our hands on a trophy. It's momentous to be able to continue writing pages in the Real Madrid history books, and to do it with this team, with this group of players, is worth even more. Now we have to enjoy it and recharge our batteries for next season."

Deck: "We deserved this final and next year we'll go after every trophy"
"I'm thrilled with the whole team. We deserved this final and the league title. The team fought hard during the series and in the semis and the final, we were lucky enough to take it 3-0. We're happy, now it's time to relax and prepare well for next season. Next year, we'll be going after all four trophies; we managed one this year. Our desire is always to win more trophies, it's not easy to win them, especially one of this magnitude. We hope we can add to our tally next year." 

Garuba: "It's a dream come true for me"
"After a hard year, to finish well is like a happy ending. We've won a lot of games in a row; our only playoff defeat came against Unicaja, but the Regular Season was really solid. It's true we didn't get off to the best start, but we manage to sort things out and we're happy about that. It's a dream come true for me. I started out in the U-11s, and 12 years later I'm still here. I'm delighted and I hope we can keep winning things."

We knew there were no easy opponents, they're well-run projects and they'd been playing really well. It was always going to be difficult for us, but not impossible. Thanks so much to the fans who have supported us all year, and next year we'll be back for me."
