Florentino Pérez was at the final in Málaga and was interviewed on Realmadrid TV after the club clinched their 29th Copa del Rey. The club president, who has racked up 60 trophies during his time at the club, had the following to say: “Although we played extremely well and won, we have to admit that it was a very tight game until the end. As always, we have to reach the end with more strength and energy than our opponents.”
“It is a pleasure to win the 29th Copa del Rey. As every time I win a trophy, I want to dedicate it to all the fans who have been here and to those who have been at home enjoying one of the most beautiful Cups, at least as far as I can remember.”
