Llull: "The goal is to try to get to all the finals and win them"
"We're looking forward to the Super Cup," said the captain at the start of his 20th season.
Sergio Llull spoke to Realmadrid TV before the start of what will be his 20th season in our team's jersey: "I'm looking forward to it with great enthusiasm and excitement. I will try to help the new players adapt as quickly as possible. It's a round number, 20 seasons. I feel very proud to have been at Real Madrid for so many years, and I hope to be here even longer."
"When you wear this shirt, the objectives are always the same: to try to reach all the finals of the competitions we play in and fight to win them. That's what wearing this crest demands of you, and we approach it with the utmost enthusiasm."
Scariolo
"We'll be looking to play good basketball. I've known Sergio for many years. I've played under him for the national team. He's a very meticulous coach, who pays a lot of attention to the small details that in the end give you that qualitative leap forward in the fight for every title."
Identity
"We have to play hard, have a good defence, control the rebounds and, in attack, play the way our coach wants us to. We have strengthened very well, and the new players are doing their part to adapt as quickly as possible. We have to get in shape to get off to the best possible start."
The pre-season
"It's an important few weeks and even more so when there are so many changes. Firstly, to get in shape individually and then to get used to the new concepts as quickly as possible. They will be tough weeks of pre-season, but we are all looking forward to it and with our sights set on the Super Cup."
The fans
"For us, the fans are vital; they are our sixth man. When the Palacio roars and is full, we connect, and that is an extra motivation. From here, we promise them a lot of effort and sacrifice to try to give them joy and celebrate titles with them".
His contribution to the team
"I will try to do what I've always done: play my heart out, do what the coach asks me to do, and what is best for the team. I'll try to do my bit to make things work and to be able to fight for those titles."
