Sergio Scariolo discussed the game against EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, on matchday 16 of the EuroLeague (Tuesday, 8.30 pm CET). The coach said: “Our opponents' recent victories have us on high alert. They have had great games and victories against Olympiacos, Panathinaikos and Virtus and dominated the games. They're a very talented and experienced team, capable of competing very well.”

“The focus we have to apply on the court is going to be essential. We have to be prepared to defend for 24 seconds of possession because they have players capable of having that coolness to do dangerous things in the last moments of possession.”

Key points to victory
“We must have patience in attack, try to run and know that we might have to arrive at the last moments of possession and know how to attack the last seconds with judgement.”

Victories on the road
“At home it's a bit easier to draw on various resources and on an emotional level you have a greater energy. I never thought we had a real problem playing away from home. The team is evolving gradually and at the beginning away from home against opponents who are higher up the table, it was noticeable.”

Sharing the minutes
“We have two competitions and players who are a bit maturer and more prepared to play in one competition than the other. We have moments when we have to give more turns because we won't always be with everyone fit and healthy.”
