Real Madrid have rounded off November in style with four consecutive wins in 10 days. Two in the league against Bilbao Basket and Coviran Granada, and two in the EuroLeague against Zalgiris Kaunas and Hapoel Tel Aviv. Scariolo's side had won three of their five games in the first half of the month, including El Clásico at the Palau. A demanding final stretch lay ahead, with four games every two and a half days. But the team showed that it continues to grow and took a step forward. In the national competition, it beat Bilbao Basket at the Movistar Arena on matchday seven (82-70) and Coviran Granada away the following day, setting a scoring record (100-111).
Show of authority in the EuroLeague
Real Madrid secured two important and well-deserved victories, as they faced the competition leaders on matchdays 12 and 13 respectively. First, they beat Zalgiris Kaunas at home (100-99) and five days later Hapoel Tel Aviv in Bulgaria (74-75).
Maledon, triple MVP
In just three days, the French point guard was crowned MVP of matchday 12 in the EuroLeague and MVP of matchday 8 in the League. Against Zalgiris, Maledon scored 25 points and had a rating of 34, his best performances in our shirt. And against Coviran Granada, he posted a double-double with 18 points, 10 assists and a PIR of 26. This performance earned him the MVP award for November in this competition.
