Chus Mateo named best coach in Liga Endesa for May

Chus Mateo has been named the best coach of the Liga Endesa for May, an award given by the Spanish Basketball Coaches Association (AEEB).
Real Madrid won all five of their games against Valencia Basket, Rio Breogán, Baxi Manresa, Coviran Granada, and Casademont Zaragoza, extending their winning run to 22 consecutive games. For the second month in a row – and the third time this season – the Madrid coach has scooped this award, having also won it in January and April.
