Chus Mateo named Liga coach of the month for April
Real Madrid won all four matches played in April and lead the title race.
Chus Mateo has been named the best coach in the Liga for April, an award given by the Spanish Association of Basketball Coaches (AEEB). Real Madrid won all four of their league games against Barça, La Laguna Tenerife, Morabanc Andorra, and Bàsquet Girona. These results allow them to maintain their lead in a competition in which they have now won 18 games in a row. This is the second time that the Madrid coach has won the award this season, having previously won it in January.
