Campazzo, MVP of the final: "We deserved this league title”
"It's not easy to win trophies, you have to appreciate what we did," said the point guard, who averaged 13 points, 7 assists and 14.7 in PIR against Valencia Basket.

Facundo Campazzo was named MVP of the Liga Endesa 2024/25 final. The Argentine point guard, who lifted the trophy six seasons ago against Barcelona, guided Real Madrid to their 38th league title with averages of 13 points, 7 assists and 14.7 in PIR against Valencia Basket: “We deserved this league title, but we had to work for it. It wasn't an easy year. It was incredible but not easy, with many ups and downs. It's a credit to come out with a title under your arm."
"The team's main characteristic is its leaders who contribute a lot and who give up the limelight for the good of the team. It's not easy to win trophies, you have to appreciate what we've done, at least by playing in finals. This year, we only won one, but it's a huge effort, we played against a team with great individuals who demanded the maximum from you. We have to embrace this trophy and cherish it.”
Campazzo has enjoyed a fantastic final stretch of the season. In the first game against Valencia, he racked up 12 points and 13 in PIR. In the second, he posted a double-double with 18 points, 11 assists (a record in a final) and 19 in PIR. And in the third game at La Fonteta, he notched 9 points, 8 assists and 13 in PIR in 30:11 minutes of play.
