Unicaja-Real Madrid: the league leaders go to the Martín Carpena arena in search of their 12th consecutive victory
The Whites, with two wins more than the home side, face a demanding away game in Málaga (6:30 pm CET).
This afternoon at the Martín Carpena, Real Madrid play their 24th league game of the season (6:30 pm CET). It will be the second game of the week for Chus Mateo's men, who come into it fresh from a convincing win over Asvel last Thursday in the Euroleague, with Tavares imperious (81-70).
Our team, leaders of the competition, will try to prolong their good form and add a twentieth league victory, the twelfth in a row. It won't be easy. They face a fellow title contender, who started the matchday in fourth position with two fewer wins after their defeat in Zaragoza last week.
On a roll
Since beating Barça in the last game of last year, Real Madrid have won all eleven league games they have played. Today they will try to increase that number against the current Spanish Super Cup and Copa del Rey champions. Unicaja are a very solid outfit at home, having lost only one game, against Dreamland Gran Canaria. In the reverse league fixture, our team won 90-77 at the Movistar Arena and today they will try to repeat the win to continue the streak.
