Today sees Real Madrid travel to face Río Breogán on matchday 22 in the League, in what will be their final outing ahead of the Copa del Rey getting underway in Malaga on Thursday. Our team will be looking for another victory that will see them head into the cup sitting top of the pile, but it's sure to be a tough trip against opponents who need points to pull themselves away from the bottom of the table.

With one eye on their Copa del Rey quarter-final against UCAM Murcia (Thursday; 6:00pm CET), the league leaders arrive at Lugo's Pazo Provincial dos Deportes de Lugo, a tough venue where the crowd love their basketball and really pile the pressure on. It will likely be a completely different game to the first half of the campaign. At the WiZink Center we enjoyed a convincing 91-58 victory thanks to a flawless team performance with seven players hitting double digits in PIR. Thursday also saw returns to action for both Llull and Tavares in Milan.

It's on the inside where Río Breogán are strongest, boasting the third-best offensive rebound numbers in the league, and possibly the most intimidating unit. Sakho's arrival gives them increased rotation in the paint, alongside Sajus, Fernández and Diouf. Sergi García is proving reliable as ever as playmaker and McLemore and Momirov's points from three are another of their danger points. Madrid will have to make the most of their strength in depth and the impressive form of MusaHezonja and Poirier.

Game 50
Real Madrid will play their 50th game of the season so far this lunchtime, averaging one every three days or less since their Super Cup semi-final win over Barcelona on 16 September last year. Chus Mateo's boys have notched up some phenomenal numbers, with 42 wins in 49 games to date. With another trophy up for grabs in just four days' time, rotation will be key for the leaders once again.
