Real Madrid-Asvel: the team seeks the second victory of the week in the Euroleague
Pedro Martínez's team faces the sixth round of the competition at the Movistar Arena (9:00 pm CEST; #Vamos).
Second Euroleague match of the week for Real Madrid. After Tuesday's victory against Olimpia Milan away, Pedro Martínez's team returns today to the Movistar Arena to face Asvel Villeurbanne in the match corresponding to the sixth round of the competition (9:00 pm CEST; #Vamos). This will be the second of three matches the madridistas will play this week, concluding on Sunday with Surne Bilbao's visit to the Movistar Arena in the League (12:30 pm CEST; Dazn).
Our team arrives at this game after stringing together four victories: two in the Euroleague (Partizan and Olimpia Milan) and two more in the League (Obradoiro and Manresa). The goal will be to extend this positive streak and secure another win in the double European matchweek. Additionally, the madridistas will aim to replicate last season's results against Asvel Villeurbanne, whom they defeated in both encounters.
To achieve this, it will be crucial to maintain the level shown in Milan, where Campazzo, Maledon, and Feliz were the main protagonists of the victory. The three point guards will once again play key roles in Real Madrid's offensive game to continue the team's strong momentum.
Asvel Villeurbanne
The French team is in 14th position in the Euroleague, with a record of two wins and three losses. In their most recent game, they lost to Red Star (82-84), with Gach (19 points) and Waters (15) standing out as their top players.
