Real Madrid face Game 2 of their EuroLeague playoff against Partizan looking to pick up their first win to level the series 8:45pm CEST. Our boys will again have the support of the WiZink Center as they try and make sure the team heads to Belgrade next week with the scores at 1-1.

The opener confirmed just how tough and intense this playoff series is likely to be. Partizan took the lead after a game that saw both sides do more than enough to win, with only a Punter triple just seconds from the end proving the difference. Madrid were stronger on the rebound, made fewer turnovers and won the battle in the paint but ultimately they came up just short against the Serbian side's superiority from three 50%. Bringing down Obradovic's team's shooting numbers will be key to get off the mark in this playoff.
In Game 1, Deck and Yabusele took a leading role, the Argentine producing a stunning display with a PIR of 33, the second-best madridista figure ever in a playoff clash. Chus Mateo's team will need to produce their very best in defense, the way they did in the third quarter on Tuesday, restricting the opposition to just 15 points.

Comeback
It won't be the first time Real Madrid have to come from behind in a playoff on the way to the title. The same happened in 2017/18, when they went on to be crowned EuroLeague champions - in Belgrade itself, of course. On that occasion, with homecourt advantage against us, we started out with a loss at Panathinaikos before winning the next three in a row to reach the Final Four.
