Barça-Real Madrid: aiming for victory in the League Clásico
Our team faces the 23rd round of the competition at Palau Blaugrana (7:00 pm CEST; Dazn).
The fourth Clásico of the season is here. This afternoon, the Real Madrid team visits the Palau Blaugrana to face Barça in the match corresponding to the 23rd round of the Liga Endesa (7:00 pm CEST; Dazn). This will be the second away game in 48 hours for our team, following their visit to Kaunas in the EuroLeague last Friday.
The madridistas, solid leaders of the competition, come into this game riding a positive streak. They have won eight consecutive matches in the league. The goal this afternoon is to extend the streak against the third-placed team and increase the five-win lead between the two sides.
In the first meeting between the two teams this season, the Real Madrid secured a victory at the Palau in the EuroLeague with a score of 92-101, thanks to an outstanding performance from Lyles (29 points). In the second game of the continental competition, the team achieved another win, this time at the Movistar Arena (80-61). The only setback occurred in the League after losing at home in the final minutes (100-105).
Demanding end of the month
After the Clásico, the madridistas face a very demanding last week of March. They will play three games in six days. They will begin with two EuroLeague matches at the Movistar Arena. First, they will host Hapoel, and two days later, Anadolu Efes. To close the month, they will face Bàsquet Girona away. Before that, this afternoon, our team will aim to secure their 21st victory in 23 league matches in the Clásico.
