Real Madrid are back on the road again on EuroLeague matchday two. After their successful opener against Baskonia in Vitoria 77-79, the competition's reigning champions face a tough trip to Anadolu Efes as they look for a second European victory, their eighth of the season so far. They head to Istanbul with confidence sky high thanks to Tuesday's impressive win over the Dallas Mavericks one Luka Doncic's return to Madrid. Tavares and Deck both make the squad for this game.

The two teams have dominated the last three editions of the EuroLeague. Real Madrid got their hands on La Undécima last season, while Anadolu Efes clinched the previous two titles. Our boys are already off the mark in this campaign, while the Turks lost on their debut at the Palau. The madridista squad remains much the same, but for the notable addition of Campazzo. Meanwhile, tonight's opponents have signed big names including Darius Thompson former Baskonia, Willis former Joventut and Jones to mitigate the loss of Micic. They boast real power outside with Larkin, Bryant and Clyburn, while Zizic and Pleiss remain inside.
Madrid are enjoying a fine start to the season, overcoming some important absences in every game so far. Today could see the return of Tavares, who enjoyed some game time against the Mavericks after four matches out, alongside Deck. The Argentine picked up a knock in the Super Cup semis. Our team will also look to make the most of Llull and Poirier's sublime form. It's no coincidence that Madrid is on fire from the three-point line they hit 15 against Baskonia and Girona and 20 against Dallas.

Relentless
It will be our fifth game inside the first twelve days of October. There is no respite in the schedule and Madrid know it all too well. After Istanbul, there are still another six games to come before the end of the month UCAM Murcia, Zalgiris, Milan, Tenerife, Barça and Zunder Palencia. It's a 100% winning record so far, and tonight's aim is a second on the road in the EuroLeague, in a clash that has happened 44 times in history. Our team lead the head-to-head 28 to 16.
